I have an old Spongebob game I would love to experience again, but it keeps freezing after I exit the front door on the first level. It loads up perfectly, let's me start a new game at the main menu screen, let's me play for a bit inside Spongebob's house, but whenever I exit his house and enter a loading screen, the game freezes. Which is really strange, because the disc is completely free from scratches, and I brought my PS2 slim in 2010, so it isn't too old. However, it's the blue/purple kind of disc, and I've heard those have caused problems for a lot of people.


Any tips on what I could do?
