My PS Plus subscription automatically renewed a few nights ago. As soon as this happened, I lost access to my existing instant game collection, with the exception of the ones currently available for download.
All previously downloaded PS Plus freebies are now padlocked and when I try to start them I get the message: "Cannot use the content. Your licence has expired. To use the content, purcase it from the PlayStation Store." In the error history menu, this is listed as CE-33948-7.
I've tried restoring licences and going into safe mode to rebuild the database. I've also contacted support by email, but they didn't seem to be able to offer a solution.
I thought that having PS Plus on auto-renew would prevent this kind of bug! Any ideas on how to fix?
